The role

You’ll join the engineering team behind a multi-application web platform built on .NET and Angular and hosted on Azure. You’ll start with bugs and small improvements, and gradually take on bigger pieces of work as you grow.

Day-to-day, you’ll:

• Fix bugs and make small improvements to existing code — a great way to learn the codebase fast.
• Build small features across the .NET backend and Angular frontend, with help from senior developers.
• Pair-program and ask questions — we’d much rather you ask early than spend two days stuck.
• Take part in team discussions, share ideas, and help shape what we build.
• Learn modern tooling, including AI-assisted development, and use it to ship better code, faster.

What you’ll work with

Our stack today, and where we’re heading:

• Backend: C# / .NET (ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core), Web Services, LINQ, ADO.NET.
• Frontend: Angular + TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript. Some jQuery in older modules.
• Data: Microsoft SQL Server with T-SQL — basic queries to start, more advanced as you grow.
• Tools: Git (or TFS) for version control, Azure DevOps for CI/CD.
• AI tooling: we use AI-assisted coding tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude, etc.) — you’ll learn them on the job.

Foundations

• 1+ years of hands-on experience with .NET / C# (commercial, internship, or strong personal projects all count).
• Some experience with Angular, including TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Familiarity with ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, and ASP.NET Core.
• Working knowledge of LINQ, ADO.NET, and basic T-SQL against MS SQL Server.
• Comfortable consuming Web Services / Web APIs.
• Solid grasp of OOP fundamentals and a basic understanding of GoF design patterns.
• Basic Git (or TFS) — branching, committing, opening pull requests.

• Personal projects, contributions on GitHub, or anything else that shows you build things on your own time.
• A finished bootcamp, university CS degree, or equivalent self-taught path.
• Exposure to Azure or another cloud platform.
• Familiarity with Angular Material or another component library.
• Already played with AI coding assistants (Copilot, Cursor, Claude, etc.) — even just for personal projects.
